All the contributions have to be submitted through the Easy Chair system by clicking this link. You have to create an account if you do not have one yet.
The conference accepts three kinds of contributions, which will be included in the official conference program.
- Scientific papers report research with scholarly method and scientific implications. Their expected length is between 8 and 12 pages. Authors are asked to justify the reasons for papers that are not within this range. All the scientific papers will be published in a IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology (IFIP AICT) proceedings volume (see TFC2020 proceedings as an example). They will be therefore indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ instructions and use the proceedings template (in Word) for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form upon acceptance of the paper. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
- Practitioners’ papers deal with application examples, markedly of TRIZ theory and tools, of relevance for industry and society. Their expected length is between 8 and 10 pages. For preparation of practitioners’ papers please use this template
- Posters describe planned or preliminary research activities, students’ works and experiments of interest for the conference. Please use the Template for posters’ proposal
The most significant scientific papers in the fields of inventive design, innovation, and problem solving, will be recommended for an extended and revised version to be published as Thematic Collection in the International Journal of Design Creativity and Innovation. The conference chairs are negotiating the possibility to launch another Special Issue or Thematic Collection welcoming extensions of well-rated scientific papers in different topics.
Practitioners’ papers deemed of good quality will be published in ACTA TECHNICA NAPOCENSIS – Series: APPLIED MATHEMATICS, MECHANICS, and ENGINEERING.
The posters’ abstracts will be made available to the conference’s participants.
The papers and posters will be published in the outlets indicated above and in a book of abstracts upon registration of an author (max. 2 papers per registration) and presentation of the contribution at the conference.
Please remember that the submission of scientific and practitioners’ papers has to be preceded by the submission of corresponding abstracts, to be approved by the Conference Board. Please use the following templates for preparing abstracts to be submitted
